Apple Tart INGREDIENTS LIST:

– 5 apples

– 120 g (4.2 oz) of sugar

– 2 eggs

– 175 ml (6 oz) of milk

– 180 g (6.3 oz) of wheat flour

– 1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

– 3 tablespoons of apricot jam

– 2 tablespoons of water

– Flour and butter, for greasing

Let’s get started with the instructions:

  • Start by removing the core of the apples with an apple corer
  • Peel the apples with a paring knife
  • Cut two apples in half and then into quarters
  • Place the chunks into a blender
  • Then add the eggs, milk, sugar, baking powder and the wheat flour
  • Blend for about 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and well blended
  • Pour into a 9-inch (23cm) springform pan, previously greased with butter and flour
  • Cut the remaining apples into slices
  • Lay the apple slices in overlapping concentric circles over the batter
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180c (350f) for about 45 minutes
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before unmolding
  • Meanwhile, combine the apricot jam and water in a small bowl
  • Warm in the microwave for a few seconds, then stir until well blended
  • Remove the side of the springform pan
  • Brush the top of the tart with the apricot glaze
  • Let cool completely and serve!
