How to Make Amazing And Delicious Apple Cake.

INGREDIENTS LIST:

– 4 large eggs

– 250 g (8.8 oz) of granulated sugar

– 375 ml (12.5 oz) of Greek yogurt

– 100 g (3.5 oz) of all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon of baking powder

– Finely grated zest of 1 lemon

– 3 apples, peeled and cut into small pieces

– Apricot or peach jam

Let’s start.

  • Start by combining the eggs and sugar in a large bowl.
  • Using an electric hand mixer, beat at high speed until pale yellow and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the yogurt and continue beating for 1 minute, then sift the flour and baking powder through a fine-mesh strainer into the bowl.
  • Add the lemon zest and continue to beat at low speed until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into a spring form pan greased with oil or butter.
  • Scatter the apple pieces evenly on top of the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180c (330 f) for about 50 to 55minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, place on a wire rack and let cool for 10 minutes, remove the side of the springform pan, brush the top of the cake with warm apricot or peach jam and the apple yogurt cake is ready to eat!
