Baked Chicken Drumsticks INGREDIENTS LIST:

– 1 kg (35 oz) of chicken drumsticks
– 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
– 5 cloves of garlic, peeled
– 1 tablespoon of dried parsley
– One large onion, cut into strips
– 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
– 100 ml (3.4 oz) of white wine
– Olive oil
– Freshly ground pepper
– Salt to taste

Instructions:

  • Start by brushing the baking dish with olive oil
  • Place the potato slices into the dish
  • Season with salt to taste
  • Then place the chicken drumsticks over the potatoes
  • Season again with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Grind the garlic cloves and parsley in a mortar
  • Add white wine and stir
  • Spoon the garlic-wine mixture over each chicken drumstick
  • Distribute the onion strips evenly over the chicken
  • Finally, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with brown sugar
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180c (350f) for about 1 hour, or until the chicken is golden brown
