Ingredients

Dough

  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ¾ cups flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ tbsp instant dry yeast (1 package)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Filling:

  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tbsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup pumpkin pure
  • 3 tbsp butter

Cream cheese glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • First, you need to prepare the dough. For this, you will need a large bowl in which the listed amount of salt, sugar, yeast, and flour need to combine until the mixture is evenly dispersed.
  • Then, put this bowl aside and take a microwavable bowl and put milk, water, and butter in it. Heat until the butter is well melted.
  • Now, stir the butter mixture into the flour mixture and once done add in the egg and knead with a stand mixer for about 5 minutes. Continue to mix if the dough is still sticky after 5 minutes.
  • Once done, form the dough into a ball and transfer it into a lightly greased bowl.
  • Finally, using either aluminum foil or a plastic wrap, loosely cover the dough and leave it to sit in a warm place for about an hour.
  • To prepare the filling, stir together the cinnamon, pumpkin puree, and brown sugar.
  • Next, take the dough, put it on a lightly floured surface and roll it into a rectangle shape.
  • Pour the cup of softened butter over the dough and use pumpkin filling to sprinkle over it.
  • To roll the dough, start at the short edge and roll it into a roll (pinch the side closed)
  • Use a sharp knife to cut the roll into 1-inch thick slices, then transfer the slices into a lightly greased 9-inch pan and let them sit and rise for about an hour.
  • Next, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F, insert the pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Finally, for the cheese cream glaze, take a bowl and put the listed amount of powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla extract and mix until they are well combined.
  • Immediately after you get the pan out of the oven brush the rolls with the cream cheese glaze.
  • Once you’ve finished with brushing the rolls, serve and enjoy.

Ingredients

Donuts:

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup pumpkin pure
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Cinnamon-sugar coating:

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup melted,unsalted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  • First, start by spraying the donut pan with cooking spray and then preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Next, take a large bowl, put the eggs, sugar, pumpkin, vegetable oil, baking powder, cinnamon and milk in it and beat until they are well combined. When done, add in the all-purpose flour and stir again.
  • Be careful not to overfill the donut pans, try to fill ¾ of the wells and let them bake for 15 minutes.
  • Once done, get the pan out of the oven and leave it to cool off for at least 5 minutes and remove the donuts after.
  • In one bowl melt the butter and use another bowl to combine the cinnamon and sugar in.
  • Spread the butter with a pastry brush over the donuts and then dip them into the cinnamon sugar.
  • Leave the donuts to cool off, then serve and enjoy.
